Lizzie Kate Designs was born in 2005 when Elizabeth K. Crowley was in search of the perfect gift for a friend. After a long search in many boutiques and mainstream stores in New York City and Connecticut, Elizabeth came home empty handed. As one who never believes in being a slave to trends, Elizabeth decided to take a plunge and create her own necklace. She wanted to make something that reflected her own personality combined with classic style. The Elizabeth Kate necklace was born. The beautiful rose quartz and potato pearl necklace was a hit and soon several other beautiful pieces followed. After only a few weeks of wearing her own creations she was overwhelmed with the response from friends, colleagues and strangers on the street.
